i want to get a single plane ticket, first from singapore to los angeles and then from new york to dublin to be valid in 2006 (must be flexible booking as not definite what dates ill be arriving in singapore and new york).

can any1 advise the cheapest way to do this? Singles are seemingly a lot more expensive than returns? Am i allowed to buy a return and then not use it?

If any1 has advise on this either from experience or other, ild be greatful for it.i.e.- what websites are good, and what cost am i looking at?
