You could buy a vacuum bag to suck the air out of it.

Are you sure you need to take a sleeping bag?
i'm travelling to china, thailand, cambodia, vietnam, laos, mayalsia, singapore, oz, nz, fiji and the usa. 99% of other travellers i've asked have said its a mistake to take one, you'll regret lugging it around with you especailly as hostels have bedding and some will charge you for using your own sleeping bag. just make sure you have a good sleeping bag liner. (to protect against the bed bugs!) obviously depends where you're off too. |

Completely unrelated, but who have you booked your trip with? That sounds like a damn good itinary...
Completely related, i too have it on good authority that sleeping bags are a waste of time, and all you really need is a decent bit of cloth to, as akabridget says, protect against bedbugs etc. And you could tie it to a couple of trees or something for shade, AND it could double up as some sort of towel too if you plan it right... |
