a travel jetpack contains everything you will need before you set off, and gives you things like SIM cards a travelcards.

Doubt that you'll need it if you have all your bits for London, you can still use the same sim etc in Scotland. Travel in Scottish cities is cheaper than London so not the same need for travelcards, just buy your tickets as you go along and you'll get maps from the tourist info. Enjoy & bring a jumper!
