I know a lot of people struggle for something different to do in Dublin, so why not try the James Joyce museum in Sandycove near Dun Laoghaire? Dedicated to the great writer, the museum features letters, photos, first editions and other memoriabilia.
It's housed in a Martello tower dating back to the 19th century, and makes for an interesting afternoon. Costs 7.25euros for adult, less for children.
