Has anyone got any ideas where I can get a big camper van, preferably a big home converted mercedes van. I have looked in the usual places, autotrader etc. I heard a rumour that there is a street in London where everyone going home sells them, but got no further Help!!

Have you tried www.thegumtree.com ? It's a site where Aussies & New Zealanders resident in London buy and sell stuff - including camper vans.

www.Ebay.co.uk has lots of everything. Under an internet search for live-in vans and mobile homes and caravans I went to Ebay and found lots of these being sold by nice individuals, couples and families at reasonable or good prices. Try other internet accessible auctions such as QXL, which isn't as good as it was.
