Hi all
does anyone have any ideas of how best to get from Bologna Forli aiport to Roma - am i right in thinking I need to go to Bologna first and then get train back down towards Rome?? How long/costly is this? Cheers, |

From Forli Airport, there is a direct bus to Bologna Central Station, which takes about 1.5 hours. From there, fast trains run at least hourly to Rome. In all, depending on the connections, you might expect it to take about five hours from the airport to Rome - perhaps even longer. The one way fare on the Eurostar services from Bologna to Rome is €42. Those trains take a shade under three hours. The IC-Plus services, not quite so frequent, are cheaper: €34 one way. The fastest IC-Plus services take just over three hours; others take closer to four hours. There is no obvious route from Forli to Rome without going via Bologna. Even if you take the local bus from Forli airport to Forli station (which is easy, a short hop, and frequent buses), you still need to travel to Bologna first by local train. So no real advantage.
