Hello!

Arriving at Girona airport at 23.30 on a Friday night in late February. Does anyone know if there is any travel alternative besides a taxi to Barcelona at that time of night? (So far as I know, the train service ends earlier than this). How much approximately would a taxi to Barcelona (Las Ramblas) cost? Alternatively, would it be a better idea to stay the night in Girona itself?

Despite what certain airlines would have you believe, Girona is actually a long way from Barcelona so I imagine a taxi would be hugely expensive. If it were me, I'd stay the night in Girona and take the train the next day.

I agree - if you have got the time - do stay in Girona - it's a beautiful medieval city full of ancient old narrow streets.
