Question:
I've just booked a last minute holiday to Lefkada staying in the resort of Nidri (that was all that was available). I normally try and book something in a smaller resort, can someone please reassure me that it's not going to share similarities with Kavos or Faliraki?
Also, are there good beaches nearby?

Nidri is not a Faliraki or Kavos but is it is a package tourist resort with dire beaches. Travel independently and you will find it is cheaper and you can go to any place you wish, including a decent beach.
