Be alert - I thought I was. We've just got back from 2 weeks in the Algarve. We thought we'd pop into Faro for a look round before flying out. Be warned. The town isn't as friendly as it looks. Our passports, tickets and digital camera were stolen from my bag whilst lunching in a small creperie not far from the main high street. I'm sure we were targeted and followed. It's made me suspicious about the restaurant too... Beware of people sitting directly behind you when there are other seats to be had - even indoors.
