Does anyone have experiences with the Anchor Guesthouse in Dublin on Gardiner St.? In all my guidebooks it's not mentioned, but finding it online it meets all my criteria.
Just wondering...

Hello Oweena,

Last year when I went to Dublin for St Patrick's day, I Stayed in a B&B called Avondale Guesthouse. This was situated on Lower Gardiner Street, about five mins walk from Busaras. This has to be THE worst B&B/Hotel I have stayed in. The room was infested with insects especially the beds, so I complained to the Owner/other staff who gave us another room free of charge. I thought I should advise you on my experiences. I did stay in a beautiful B&B on Upper Gardiner Street. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the name but I can get you the details!

I can remember the Anchor Guesthouse situated nearby, hope you have better luck than I did! Have an enjoyable time in Dublin!.

If you need any other info on Dublin, please let me know. Thanks :-)
