I`m about to travel to Paris this autumn. If you have any suggestions what to do/see (except the obvious ones...Eiffel Tower, Musee de Louvre etc) please let me know. Especially if you thik you know something outside the guidebooks I would be more than happy.

Hi Issakainen
Why don't u try une randonnee a la midnight down by the banks of the Seine. A good place to start is to take metro lines 10 or 5 to the Gare d'Austerlitz come out of the station crorr the road descend the steps and you will find yourself in some kind of underground carpark. You can walk in either direction and there are bridges to cross the river. Almost a fun as Sitges playa at midnight. Trig's tip:walk light. |

I recomend a trip up the Canal st. Martin A very nice trip whitch passes a tunnel(!),locs and different bridges , all in Paris ! It ends up at La Villette, with the sciense museum , and nice park areas.Ask the hotel to book for you . The boat leaves from a bassin near the new opera . And remeber to stay up to see the Eiffel tower shut down at night ! A marvelous sight !
Have a nice stay in the city of dreams ! |

Hey, I would check out the Eyewitness Travel Guides to Paris - they are the best one in my view for top notch pics and maps and good $$$.
For example, go to Paris Best, Steven |
