Hi! Just returned from tril to Venice where accomodation is VERY expensive. However we found a great B&B called La Trinita in Cannaregio at 80 euros a night for the room with breakfast. It's more like an appartment where you get a room and share the 2 bathrooms with other residents. There's also a small sitting area and breakfast is served in your room at a time you request. All very clean, decent size rooms and great location - just far enough away from the main tourist area that there are real Italians living there and there's a market just outside every day! Really great and well recommended if you want a private room rather than a hostel. Be prepared to pay cash!
