Following an earlier post (which Greek Island?) my girlfriend and I are edging towards a fortnight in Corfu this June.

Now I'm looking for some advice on resorts and places to visit please.

We're both 30 and looking for a good beach. We'd also like to have somewhere with a decent selection of bars and tavernas (certainly not Kavos might I add).

Any extra tips would be very welcome.

Paleo is a gorgeous resort, though a bit on the quiet side to spend all your time. Not too touristy at all. Not the easiest place to get to as it's quite far away from the other main resorts
It stretches out over three beaches. There's a monastery to explore, and plenty of walking especially to the villages up and over the hills behind it. For spectacular views, a cool pool and good but expensive food then stop off at the Golden Fox somewhere up there, though I forget where exactly...

Corfu Town is lively and beautiful but a bit on the busy side

Paleokastritsa is one from the most nicely place in Corfu is realy nice place that's why every body visit...............
If you be in Corfu and like to Have nice quiet day visit PARAMONAS beach
