Me and two friends plan to travel Berlin - Gdansk/Danzig - Kaliningrad - Riga by train. The first part of the trip is easy to organize, but it's difficult to find information about connections between Kaliningrad and Riga. By train, it seems like we have to change at least twice and wait several hours (and over night) in little towns. It might be easier to do this last bit of the journey by bus - but then, we'll be crossing two borders, so we are not sure if there would be ONE bus company doing the whole trip or if we have to change busses, how they would connect. Has anyone been there/ done this trip? Any recommendations are welcome!
