Dear All,

We're planning to head for the Lofoten Islands for Christmas, and just wondered how feasible this trip would be - do the trains run as often in winter? Do the ferries run at this time, and is all the accommodation open on the islands?

If anyone out there has experience of travelling in Norway in winter, please let us know your experiences!
