I want to travel about September for a couple of months to the Uk and then time permitting see all of it and then on to a bit of Europe,Italy, Greece
My first question is ok should I book all the flights and travel in Australia or would it be better to wait till I arrive in the Uk get on a friends computer or phone then and book, Would it be cheaper this way & easier?

I would wait until you get to the UK. There are several discount airlines like Easy Jet that you can use. Check out there web site (www.easyjet.co.uk; they've loads of deals that you could either book online or through an agency.

Yep, I agree. EasyJet are cheap - I've booked my flights to Italy for August, and it cos £60 (sorry, not sure what that is in Ozzie $s) return, including taxes etc. Book it when you get here matey.
So where in UK are you planning to go? Also, where else in Europe? I recommend The Algarve, Portugal if you get the chance. Oh, and Barcelona and Cordoba in Spain.

Happy travels!

Definitely wait to book your flights until you're in the UK.

Have you considered postponing your trip until a time when the weather is more pleasant? You'll be arriving just as the weather begins to turn cold. The Greek Islands, for instance, will be windy and chilly in October and most of the businesses will have begun to close down for the winter by the end of September.
