Can anybody help? We are going to Florence this year, and want to spend some time on the coast, but all the guidebooks say it's either dirty and horrible or over-populated by big hotels and their umbrella clones!
Does anyone know of a good place to stay along the coast north of Rome with a bit of sand and a bit of a life to it?
