Can anyone give me an idea of how much ticket prices go up from March to April to May?

It depends entirely on where you plan to go. There are some places where air fares will in fact be cheaper in May than they are in March (for example, the weather is more pleasant in March than in May in some hot countries, so more tourists want to go there then, which puts the price up).

If you're in the UK, I suggest you go online to sites such as Expedia ( www.expedia.co.uk ) or Opodo ( www.opodo.co.uk ) where you can find out (and compare) air fares on different dates to your chosen destination. Alternatively, you can do the same thing on the websites of specific airlines.
