we are planning a trip to Lisbon & Madeira at Christmas time. i would love insights to "off the beaten path" things - cafes, restaurants, shops, wine, towns - anything. we love to check out the sights but we also are non-touristy loving tourists (of course..) and love to just take in the local life. also, any tips on a great way to spend the actual holidays would be great. thanks!
