I liked my Cuba Rough guide but the restaurant guide part was useless. one resto had a great review in R Guide. we were waiting hours and the food was terrible. we met cubans there who told us it was a bad idea to come here.my professor told us to write a letter to rough guide to complain about Emperador.it had a great review. it has a cool red velours interior and looks like a cabaret bar but to AVOID at all costs. then again, restos in havana were scarce.many from group left after waiting 2 hrs at our table.i had to eat their orders (bland cannelloni with ham and huevo something forgettable)since ordering would take too long. One hyper-glycemic had some attack - no convenient store nearby.
