Will we see new changes in Cuba? Will Fidel Castro remain in power? What will be the future of Cuba? These are the questions being asked today. I believe that the status quo will remain for sometime as the philosophy of the government is to maintain Cuba in its unique position in the world as a socialist state. So there is still time to capture the natural beauty and history of this enigmatic Latin American country. It remains a safe tourist destination to fly to and to travel within. My friends at Cuba Select Travel in Havana keep me upto date on current events there and I have been assured that everything is calm and life goes on as usual.
