I am planning a motorcycle trip to Cuba and was wondering if anyone can give me a few tips.
I normally travel with my ATM card and a few back up emergency dollars so can you tell me whether ATMs are plentiful throughout Cuba and if so, are they from International Banks or has the American embargo made it a no go zone for them. Although I would love to cycle across Cuba, time is rather limited for me so I am thinking of a motorcycle trip. May sound like a stupid question but is fuel easily available or do I have to go 'around the houses' to get a top up? Replies are much appreciated. Cheers. |

There are very few ATM's in Cuba, IF ANY AT ALL! Bring cash - American cash - it does wonders! As for gasoline - I only saw 1 fuel station, I think! Do some research - maybe contact the local tourist office. Hope this helps a bit!
