hi all,
i've been planning a RTW trip for the start of next year..just a 3 month thing...doing SEA, then NZ..but i've now been invited to meet up with a mate in Trinidad for the carnival and would really like to add it onto my trip, but i'm having huge amounts of trouble finding a travel agent that can get me there as part of the trip....any ideas? all suggestions greatfully received! |

Where are you coming from
Trinidad has flights direct daily from London. New York, Miami. ALso some flights from Manchester All with BWIA (BWEE) You can fly to Tobago from London with BA. Book early though if your coming for Carnival |

thanks for the reply....i've actually given up on the idea of including Trinidad now ...various reasons.
i would have been heading there from NZ (probably Auckland), i culd have done it, but it would have involved a few internal flights in america. thanks again, K |

Not only check with your travelagent, YOU ALSO NEED TO HAVE A HOTEL! ! !
THE PRICES FOR A ROOM WILL NORMALLY DOUBLE! BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT. I have been there two times myself in the last seven years. But try to arive early so you can go to the different "pan- yards" and hear them practicing. You should also try to get a press-pass, then you can come mush closer to the stage. THE HIGHLIGHTS ARE THE PAN Competition, the jump-up-jove, the king and queen comp. So you will need at least two weeks, aftervards to recopiate. L84wrk99 |
