Hi,
We are planning to travel around Cuba next October. We found an 8-day or 15-day tour that looks quite good on the internet (organised by an Australia-based organisation called Cuban Adventures, on www.cubagrouptour.com). We wondered whether there is anyone who took this organised tour before and could give us some feedback about there experience. Many thanks in advance. Best wishes, Lukas & Ellen (Belgium) |

Hi,
I've recently returned from a 15-day small group tour with Explore. Although I have no experience of Cuban Adventures, I can highly recommend this style of travel in Cuba, especially for a first time visitor, as you get to see areas that would be tricky to access if travelling independently. Explore's itinerary and standard of service was incredibly high. They use mid-grade hotels - not the height of luxury but usually with great character. If you can afford the time, I'd recommend tacking on a couple of extra, independent days in Havana at the end of the holiday - it's great to be guided round the island but after two weeks, it's a real pleasure to explore independently. Good luck with your choice! Cuba is a fascinating country to visit - I'm already plannning to return! - and however you go, you'll have a great time. Anniebonne |
