Can anyone shed some light on this. Do Travel Journal photos have to be original? On the first Journal I wrote I attached a non-original photo and within 24 hours I was contacted directly by the editorial dept telling me that this practice was not on and to remove the photo at once. Fair enough - their site, their rules.

So why do now see on many journals scanned copies of postcards, picture collages taken directly from websites and quite obvious professional aerial photos. Some of the postcards I've seen even have the "Greetings from....." motif emblazened across the front. So what's the story?
