I have already posted this in EUROPE part. Didn't notice this section. Here's the copy of my post

My husband and I usually travel to Europe for 3 weeks each May-June, and we never take more than just 2 daypacks. We never take too many clothes because we can always do the laundry at the hostel/hotel + use their dryer. It is cheap to do your laundry at the hostel and you can wash your clothes together with other people's clothes and split the cost for laundry. Why carry too much and live out of the backpack when you can take less and simplu do the laundry for a buck or two? I also think that one does not need two pairs of shorts and 5 pairs of socks and more than 2 T-Shirts. You can easily have a pair of jeans and a pair of shorts. While you wash your jeans, you can put on your shorts, and vice versa. Why carry 5 pairs of dirty underwear and 5 pairs of socks when you can easily have enough of 2 pairs of each?
