This would be an invaluable addition to the "Norway" guidebook.

For those hillwalkers who've thought about going to Norway but have been put off because there is a lack of information on routes, the following new book is worth reading:

"Walks and Scrambles in Norway" by Anthony Dyer et al. It is a similar format to the Scottish "Munros" books, i.e. colour pictures, route descriptions and maps for each route.

The other books available for hillwalkers/mountaineers are:
"Norway South" by Bernhard Pollmann, which gives some routes in the south of the country; "Hurrungane" by James Baxter which is very detailed but covers a small area. The Hurrungane range is really for Alpinists - there are better areas to visit for walkers. Finally Tony Howard's "Romsdal" book is the definitive book on that area - even though it's a climbers' book, there are some good walks in it.

For a first time visitor though, I would start with Dyer's book.
