We are doing a similar thing and so have read up on some visa information. The best thing to do would be to apply for a Working holiday visa online before you go (you can't apply when you're there). They cost approx £140 and it means that you can work for a whole year but can only be in one job for a maximum of three months. Worth considering if you really need it as you can usually only get one of these visas once.
