This is a girls ONLY hostel in Cairns on Lake Street (5mins walk from Esplanade). We've been here for a month and it's GREAT. Dawn, the manager will sort out ALL your touring needs and book tours and hostels for you around the country if your heading out of Cairns. The dorms are a maximum of 6 beds mostly 4 and 3. Split over 2 floors there are 2 TV lounges, 3 kitchens, 3 bathrooms. It's the cleanest hostel around and there's plenty of space. I can't recommend this place enough. Dorms are $16/night and twin rooms $20. It's been like a home from home.
