My sister is arriving in sydney at 6.50pm on Thursday 14th August. Me and my friends are having difficulty trying to work out what day and time that would be in England. Please help it will stop in our arguing.

i think its nine hours ahead, so it will be about 9:50am in the uk, but its been three years since i was in australia and it varies depending on when the clocks go forward or back over here so i might be wrong,
if you are still in the uk you can dial 155 and there is a free service provided by BT that will tell you the exact time difference for any country of the world.

Try the site www.worldtimeserver.com. It gives current time differences and can work out what time it will be in one country when it is a given time in another - very useful.
