What work can be done in OZ or NZ as am over maximum age for work visa?

I don't know much about it but you can join WWOOF (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) its all kinds of work apparently and you dont need a visa because youre only working for your keep... you can find out more from Travellers Contact Point 020 7243 7887- hope this helps!

allthough you might find yourself slapped with a 10.000$ fine, thrown out of the country , or landed behind bars learning dirty talk from your cellmates, there are scores of employers who don't mind hiring unregistered foreigners. Especially in fruitpicking I bet you'll be allright without a visa.

There are thousands of fruitpicking spots all over Australia and if you are willing to put some shoulder in it you'll make good money! (contrary to what many broke backpackers might tell you...it is all in your head and attitude man!)

One good place in Australia to look for illegal work is Berri in S.A for example. (also the best hostel in the entire country no doubt!) A good place to look for illegal fruitpicking in NZ is Hastings on the North Island. (hostels suck, pay is not as good as in Oz either)
