If you're planning to hire a campervan in New Zealand, "Tasman Motorhomes" (of 70 Luke Street, Otahuhu, Auckland, formerly of 514 Great South Road, Otahuhu) is one to avoid. Very little in the way of facilities actually functioned on the vehicle we hired from them and the vehicle itself was shabby, dilapidated and gutless in performance. The handover bloke didn't know how anything worked on the vehicle. When we returned it to the depot, they dinged us (in a rather threatening manner) on the basis of their very dodgy damage report sheet, including charging us NZ$60 for a fuel tank which they alleged to be full on collection (it was only one quarter full when we took delivery of the van). One to avoid!
