Hi my friend and I are currently in Vietnam - stop 3 on our world tour, and will be heading from China to Aus at the start of December. Our plan was to rent or buy a campervan, strap some surfboards on it and do the East coast of Australia.

We're fixed on flights in and out, allowing us a little over 5-weeks so we're after a minimal fuss solution so we can get on with the travelling once we're there! Any suggestions as to the best option - hire or buy and places where we can do either of these would be really appreciated!!

In five weeks it is probably best to hire. In august we rent a 4WD camper for 200AUD per day. For 2 and if you don't need a 4WD, you can probably get a best price. The most popular company in OZ is Britz but there are plenty of company - we rent we a family company in PERTH named CAMPERWORLD.
