Hi

I have already arranged a working holiday visa and was told that I would need £2000 sterling in my bank account. Does anyone know if it is ok to have a print out from my internet banking instead of a bank statement, as this would be more up to date as I will be traveling prior to entering Australia?

Thanks
Amera

When I applied for my work visa, I had to do the same thing (show evidence that you have £2000). I was flapping as I didn't have an up to date statement - so I printed off a balance slip at a cash machine. It worked a treat ! So get yourself to a local mini bank, it saves a bit of hassle.

Initially i was slightly concerned about this but they didn't even ask for it. No sweat didn't even have the 2k apart from Credit.

you should try appling for visa on line with http://www.visas-australia.com/ as according to the application form they sent me they do not need any evidence of funds.

the also offer a free visa deal with cover works insurance. www.coverworks.com

Worth a look
