I am travelling to New Zealand in February 05, and was wondering if anyone had any tips for me about where to go, what to see, other tips on working in New Zealand also. I am on my own and love to meet other travelers.

Hi, you will love new zealand, I am an ex aussie I have lived here for fourteen years and think nz is great- then again, I think I was lucky enough to choose by accident the best place in NZ to live. It is a fairly safe country, although watch out for that drink doping thing in city nightclubs. Staying on farms is a great way to check out rural life, most backpackers places are very nice too. Depending on how long you are travelling for, it may be a good idea to buy a second hand car then sell it when you leave
