'Aunty Dawn's' self catering accomdation in Coromandel's HotWater Beach gets a mention in the NZ Rough Guide. At $130 a night it was our splash. The location is nice and the accomodation spacious. But a huge thumbs down for the lousy breakfast.... cereal so stale it stuck in the jar and a few mls of milk. So hubby went out early to get some decent supplies. The rather dumb husband of the establishment happened by... peered in the window, moved to the open door and said:
