I don't know about guest houses but the AURORA was an excellent place to stay.
Travellers Mantra: Travel light, trust few and always paddle you own canoe. |

I too stayed at the Aurora Red Centre Resort in 2002, and would recommend it. It's about 15 minutes walk out from the centre of Alice on the Stuart Highway,but there was also a regular courtesy bus service providing easy access to the town.
There seemed to be a range of rooms available. |
