There are a number of hostels in Rarotonga, Cook Islands for about $10-$13 US and almost all of them give you your monies worth except Tiare Village which is a disaster. I would suggest Are Renga, Are Mango, Ariana Hostel, Rarotonga Backpackers or Backpackers International. All of which can be booked via the Internet.
