Got my fingers crossed that someone out there can help me. I am a UK citizen, living in the UK and I am about to apply for a WHV for New Zealand. The NZ immigration website gives contrasting views on whether I have to show proof of funds when I apply for my visa or just when I enter the country. Hoping someone from the UK who has already been through the process can set the record straight for me. So, do you have to show proof of funds when you apply for your visa?

I applied last year and had to provide a bank statement at time of application. In theory, the authorities can also ask this when you enter NZ but this doesn't seem to happen.
