May I recommend the Waterloo Hostel at 55 Waterloo st. it must be the closest to the centre,clean and secure. Dorms S$20.00 - Singles S$45.00 The breakfast has to be the worst east of Java, but then nothings perfect.
For a bar the crossroads cafe underneath the Marriott Hotel on Orchard Rd. has great atmosphere but it aint cheap. Happy Trails - D.R. |
