Any idea how much Rough Guides has donated to help the survivors of the tsunami disaster?

The answer is that Pearson, the media company that owns Rough Guides, is setting up a donation programme through the Red Cross. This will match the private donations made by Pearson staff (including Rough Guides) around the world. The big question is how the huge volumes of aid streaming to the region will be used.

Pearson has now agreed to extend the matching funds appeal to users of this website. Donations made to the Rough Guide tsunami appeal page at CARE International before the end of January will be matched by Pearson. Go to http://www.roughguides.com/tsunami to double the value of your donation.
