Karakorams means "crumbling rock" in Turkish. A real description for the gaint grey slag heaps capped with snow and tower above the narrow valleys between them. 12 out of the world's 30 highest mountains are in the Karakoram range. The Karakoram highway 1284 kilometers long the real eighth wonder was a joint sino - Pakistani project completed in 1978. Day - 1: Arrival Islamabad and transfer to Hotel.
Day - 2: Drive to Chillas in coach and visit 5000 years old rock inscriptions.
Day - 3: Drive to Hunza and do Chinese stuff shopping in Gilgit.
Day- 4: Drive to Hopper by Jeep.
Day - 5 To Day - 11: Trek through Bualtar and Barpu Glaciers, flowers strewn ablation, valleys and. High allitude grazing grounds to Rush Lake a superb mountain view of surrounding peaks of Karakoram. (Max Alt 13,776 feet)
Day - 12: Drive to Hunza. Over night in Hotel
Day - 13: Visit Khunjerab Pass. The highest paved border in the world between Pakistan and China.
Day - 14: Drive to Besham over night in Hotel.
Day - 15: Drive to Islamabad.
