Amies Cafe in Cherating has outstanding western food! Great sandwiches, milkshakes, pancakes, burgers, homemade muesli, quesadilla, freshly cut fries and lots more (unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try everything). You get a very warm welcome too. Anyone who needs a fix should definitely make a point of getting there.

Amie is a local, who has just spent 5 years working as a chef in Hawaii, and has now come back home with Amelia, his wife, and they have created the most amazing menu in this very chilled out little town, on the coast between Kuantan and Kemaman. Cherating has lots of places to stay, and there is a beautiful beach with good surf.

Great place to hang out and it is a must for anyone who is pining for food from home (although they do a great Nasi Lemak too).

Very reasonable prices.
