Many had mistaken, thinking that the whole of Indonesia is in a chaos. The Riau island like Batam, Bintan etc.. aren't affected.
So, for tourist visiting these place, there is no need for alarm in any sense.

The places will be more accessible via Singapore, only about 45mins ferry from Singapore.
