Hi guys,

I am travelling on my own for 2 months in the summer. I am flying in and out of Bangkok but want to spend most of my time in Cambodia. I am reluctant to take an internal flight due to cost and travel.

Has anyone done this crossing? Is it safe enough for a single female traveller?

Also all the info I can find tells you how to cross from Bangkok to Siem Reap wheras I want to leave Bangkok and travel around Thailand for a week while making my way to the border. Ideally I would like to cross at Aranya Prathet, does this have connections to other places in Thailand than straight to Bangkok.
