three weeks in burma in june, anyone know the latest on off-limit areas, know of some local guides to hook up with and some suggestions for 3 weeks?

I haven't been back home for a couple of years but I think if you stick to the normal tourist route of Rangoon, Mandalay, Bagan, Taunggyi, etc. it should be ok.

They do get a bit shifty if you want to go to the border regions.

It's going to be rainy season in June though - so be sure to bring some wet clothing, and could make a difference on where you go because some places won't be as nice as in say, December.
