Will be arriving in Singapore and have to be in Bangkok 11 days later and am now looking for some good travelling alternatives and have got two options so far. 1, travel overland from Singapore to Bangkok. 2, travel Malaysia and catch a flight from Singapore to Bangkok and stay a day or se before leaving. Qestion is what is best - Thailand or Malaysia? Need all the help, tips and advice I can get!!!

Many thanks

Anna

it depends on your interests. Beaches, sunbathing or museums, culture. This time of year it is not much beachlife on eastcoast of malaysia.(north eastmonsoon). But you can have some fine days in Melakka and KL. Trekking, head up to Cameron Highlands.Nice beaches,Krabi and Trang provinces i Thailand.

Went from S'pore to Bangkok by train several years ago, and highly recommend it...

Started in S'pore, then KL, Penang, Suri Tani, Bangkok..

Took about 2 weeks, so you may want to fly to KL then do the rest by train.

Depending on your level of comfort and what you want to do, look at staying in the national forrest near Suri tani, hanging out in Georgetoown...
