I am planning to spend New Year's partying on some island in Thailand. I've been to Thailand before, but during the summer. So what would be your picks as party central? I was thinking either of Koh Phangan or Koh Phi Phi.

personally phi phi sucks, all you hear is long tails and tour boats with loud speakers, can't imagine where they would find room for a party among all the hotels and **** floating in the water!even the thai government want it shut down due to the sewage problems....but you decide.
