Question:
I am graduating from college soon and I am planning on travelling to Europe. I've been wanting for a few years already. What I wanted to know is that when women travel alone, do you mostly start out with an escorted tour? or do you just go without a tour guide? How safe is Europe? I am interested in going to Rome or Paris.

I need some advice, because I am quite nervous about going to a foreign country by myself. I am afraid I might get lost or doesn't know what to do. Please help!

I believe that travelling in Europe is very safe. At least in the countries I have travelled, which are Spain, Italy, Germany, UK, Greece, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Holland.
The usual precautions apply, but I have taken some train journeys on my own up and down Europe and it was great.
