I'm going to backpack around Europe soon on my own and was just wondering how much it costs to get by comfortably. So far I've saved almost 1000 UKpounds - will that be enough?

for how long? It varies extremely from country to country, i.e you could probably stay at least twice as long in Eastern Europe, Greece, Spain etc. as in Scandinavia and Britain for the same amount. An average of 50 euros a day might be a lead?
